Since 2019, fans and netizens have watched singer Sista Afia and actress Efia Odo trade jabs both online and offline, making their feud a recurring topic on social media.

However, during an appearance on The Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso, Sista Afia has established that she has moved on from that rivalry.

According to her, the feud is over, and Efia Odo is no longer a factor in her life.

“Now, I’m done with the back and forth. I’m grown and mature. Some of these things don’t tickle me anymore. I’ve done this stuff, and it’s enough. Honestly, I don’t think about her. She’s the last person I’d think of,” she said.

‘I am sorry’ – Efia Odo apologises to Sista Afia

A history of back and forths

She recalled facing verbal abuse and body-shaming that pushed her patience to the limit, nearly resulting in a physical altercation with Efia Odo.

Narrating the incident, Sista Afia recounted how Efia Odo mocked her outfit after a performance in London.

“She insulted me, asking if Ghanaians don’t have stylists. I said nothing at the time,” she recalled.

However, months later, when Efia Odo clashed with Fella Makafui, Sista Afia’s close friend, the singer felt compelled to respond.

“Because Medikal was family, I decided to take her on. I did a video slamming Efia Odo, and it went viral,” she recounted.

    A new perspective

Currently, Sista Afia has made it clear that those days are behind her, adding that there is no longer room for grudges or unnecessary battles.

“I’m cool and reserved, but when I get to the point where I cannot take it, it’s different. Now, though, I’m done with all that,” she declared.
