Separate delegations from Ecobank Ghana Limited and the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) have paid courtesy calls on the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to strengthen strategic partnerships and reaffirm support for the aviation sector.

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Ecobank’s delegation, led by Mr. Joseph Ankamah, Acting Head of Corporate Banking, met with Rev. Stephen Wilfred Arthur, the Acting Director-General of GCAA, and his executive team. The following day, Thursday, June 5, a similar visit was made by ADB, led by Professor Ferdinand Ahiakpor, Deputy Managing Director.

During both engagements, Rev. Arthur welcomed the delegations warmly and stressed the critical role of banking institutions in helping GCAA achieve its operational and strategic goals. He expressed optimism that existing relationships with both banks would deepen into more robust partnerships.

The banks congratulated Rev. Arthur on his recent appointment and expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation with public institutions such as the GCAA, in line with their corporate goals of promoting national development through strategic collaborations.

These visits underscore the importance of public-private sector engagement in Ghana’s aviation and financial industries, aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and service delivery.
