Ghana Premier League campaign to loss of key players in the team.

The Still Believe lads, who made a good debut in the CAF Confederation Cup last season, has yet to win a game in the Ghanaian top-flight after seven matches. They have managed four draws and three losses.

And according to Dormon, the departure of their key players has contributed to his outfit sloppy start to the Premier League campaign.

“We have a young team and we believe that as the league progresses, these players will find shape and we will begin to pick valuable points but it is not good for us, playing seven games without a win.”

Forward Agyenim Boateng Mensah and captain Abdul Jalilu joined Rwandan Premier League outfit, Mukura Victory Sports, before the start of the new season due to their impressive performance last term.

Additionaly, midfield duo of Godfred Kingsley Atuahene and Abdul Aziz Issah secured moves to Israeli side, FC Ashdod and FC Barcelona, respectively.

Other players who departed the club include experienced forward, John Antwi, and Sylvester Simba, now plying his trade for debutants, Basake Holy Stars.

The 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup semifinalist will travel to Wenchi to face Young Apostles in match day eight of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

It promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams will be yearning for maximum points after stalemates in their previous games. –Ghanasoccernet.com
