Dreams FC head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has said that Nsoatreman’s impressive home record won’t intimidate his team when the two sides face off in the Match Day 13 encounter of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Dreams FC will travel to the Nana Amoah Kronmansah II Park to face a Nsoatreman side that has not tasted defeat at home since March 2024. Interestingly, their last home loss in the GPL was against Dreams FC, the same opponent they face this Sunday.
However, the circumstances are different this time. Dreams FC currently finds itself level on points with Vision FC, who occupy the relegation zone with 11 points. Having recorded five losses in twelve games, Dreams FC is under pressure to improve its fortunes.
In a pre-match press conference, Zito dismissed concerns about Nsoatreman’s home advantage and expressed his determination to secure valuable points.
“For home matches, avoiding defeat is always a plus, but there’s always one day when you may fall. So, I’m not threatened by their record, and I’m going there with the purpose of winning or at least drawing,” he stated.
After securing back-to-back wins against Medeama and Vision FC, Dreams FC seemed to have regained momentum, but a 1-0 loss to Karela United derailed their progress. Zito will be hoping to get his team back on track this weekend.
