Dreams FC has appointed Fiifi Parker Hanson as their new assistant coach in preparation for the upcoming 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League season.
Fiifi Parker Hanson, 41, officially joins Dreams FC after a successful stint with Golden Kick FC, where he led the team to their first-ever FA Cup final in the 2024/2025 season, showcasing his tactical prowess and developing young talents.
Hanson’s most notable accomplishment came last season when he guided the lower-tier Golden Kick FC to the MTN FA Cup final, where they narrowly lost 2-1 to Asante Kotoko.
Golden Kick FC’s FA Cup run was historic, with notable wins over top teams like Hearts of Oak and Karela United en route to their maiden final appearance.
Fiifi Parker Hanson voiced his disappointment with the refereeing in the final, but commended his team’s performance and the players’ resilience throughout the tournament.
The coach’s tactical prowess and ability to develop young talent have earned him attention from several Ghanaian Premier League clubs.
Prior to joining Dreams FC, Hanson was reportedly on the verge of becoming the assistant coach at Hearts of Oak.
Talks between Hanson and the Accra-based club reached an advanced stage, but ultimately broke down due to undisclosed reasons, leading to him joining Dreams FC instead.
Hanson had expressed openness to working alongside Hearts of Oak’s head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, a former colleague at Right to Dream Academy, but ultimately the deal did not materialise.
Fiifi Parker Hanson’s appointment at Dreams FC is his debut in the Premier League coaching ranks.
He’s set to make a big impact, bringing tactical know-how and player development expertise to the team.
