Dr Likee has addressed speculation surrounding his relationship with Kyekyeku, insisting that there is no personal disagreement between them.
The popular skit maker, whose real name is Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, explained that the decision not to regularly feature Kyekyeku in his content is part of how he manages his creative team and responds to audience expectations.
According to Dr Likee, he has several talents under his guidance whom he supports as they develop their careers. Once a member of the team gains recognition and begins attracting a strong following, he believes it is important for that person to also build something of their own.

He said this approach helps create room for the various members of his team to establish themselves rather than relying on one person to remain a constant feature in every production.
Dr Likee further pointed out that keeping Kyekyeku away from some of their videos also allows audiences to miss him and maintain interest in his character.

He explained that constantly featuring the actor could make his presence too familiar to viewers and potentially reduce the excitement surrounding his appearances.
“There are a lot of people here, and our problem is that if a person travels for a show and is going for the second time, he/she will be questioned. Meanwhile, probably that is what the audience wants and the numbers we want.
“There is no issue between the two of us, but it’s because we are doing what the viewers want. I can’t shoot with only Kyekyeku all the time because of what the viewers want,” Dr Likee stated.
