Renowned Ghanaian media personality and disc jockey, Ohemaa Woyeje, has provided more details regarding the recent commotion at Angel FM that saw her being denied entry into her workplace.
Taking to her official Facebook page, Ohemaa Woyeje issued a strong disclaimer, distancing Dr. Kwaku Oteng, the President and Founder of Angel Group of Companies, from the incident.

She refuted claims suggesting that Dr. Oteng was behind the presence of thugs at the radio station’s premises on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
According to Ohemaa Woyeje, it was the sole decision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Angel Broadcasting Services Limited, Mr. Vincent Opare that resulted unfortunate scene.
She emphasized that Dr. Oteng had no hand in the aggressive actions taken against her and urged the public to refrain from dragging his name into the controversy because he can’t do such an unlawful thing.
In her post, she wrote:
“DISCLAIMER ….. Dr Kwaku Oteng is innocent in the thuggery attack at Angel FM Accra premise yesterday, please don’t drag him in. The perpetrator is the CEO Vincent Opare and not the President & Founder of Angel Group Of Companies (Dr Kwaku Oteng). Please be guided and stop tarnishing his image. ‘Dr Kwaku Oteng’ will never commit such an unlawful act.”
This clarification comes after Dr. Kwaku Oteng faced a wave of backlash from a section of the public, with many wrongly accusing him of orchestrating the attack.
The issue became topical following a viral video showing Ohemaa Woyeje being barred from entering the Angel FM premises by some individuals who claimed to be security personnel acting on orders from the station’s CEO.
Ohemaa Woyeje further alleged that the security team not only prevented her from entering but also attempted to intimidate and forcefully eject her from the premises.
Despite the dramatic encounter, the outspoken radio presenter assured her fans and followers that she was physically fine.
She has also confirmed that the matter had been reported to the Ghana Police Service, adding that investigations were underway.
