    The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Occasion (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has re-echoed his plan of making an area streaming platform.

    Eight months in the past, Dr Bawumia first talked about his intention to introduce digital and streaming platforms for Ghanaian artistes if he turns into President.

    He made this promise throughout his lecture ‘Ghana’s Subsequent Chapter: Selfless Management and Daring Options for the Future’ on the College of Skilled Research in Accra on February 7, 2024.

    The NPP Presidential Candidate pressured his promise after assembly with some trade gamers and celebs on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

    He vowed to assist creatives enhance their monetization since they aren’t incomes a lot presently.

    Dr Mahamudu Bawumia pressured {that a} native streaming platform shall be created for artistes to earn from their creativity.

    Noting that the present streaming platforms are all owned by foreigners, he averred having an area platform could be useful.

    Dr Bawumia opened up about partnering with the Musicians Union of Ghana, Ghana Music Rights Group and others to make this come to fruition.
