As Ghana prepares to welcome a new government in the upcoming year, popular Ghanaian artiste Kofi Mole has shared some candid advice for the nation’s youth.

Reflecting on the economic challenges faced under the previous administration, Mole expressed hope for improvement but called on the youth to be self-reliant.

According to him, no government or individual will save the youth; hence, they should learn to be financially independent instead of waiting for help.

“I really hope the new government will make things better. But if you are a youth, don’t rely on any government. Do your own thing; nobody will save you. So make your own money,” Mole stated in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb’s Isaac Dadzie.

Kofi Mole said this at the Fameye Family Concert hosted by Highlife artiste Fameye on December 20, 2024, in Accra.

The event saw a host of up-and-coming as well as top-notch artistes including KiDi, Sista Afia, Eno Barony, Ras Kuuku, Kofi Mole, and Fameye himself tantalize the massive crowd with their hit songs.
