Popular Ghanaian counselor, Counselor Charlotte Odur,o has advised young people about marriage and financial stability.

Speaking in a recent event, she emphasised the importance of financial security before entering into marriage.

According to Counselor Charlotte Oduro, “Don’t marry if you don’t have money.”

She stated that she strongly believes that a marriage without financial stability, regardless of the level of effort put into it, will struggle to survive.

In her view, money plays a crucial role in maintaining a successful union.

However, she did not specify whether this advice was directed at men or women.

Nonetheless, given societal norms where men are traditionally seen as the primary breadwinners, many believe her statement is more relevant to men.

Her advice has sparked discussions among social media users, with some agreeing that financial preparedness is essential for marriage, while others argue that love and commitment should be the foundation of any union.
