Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has taken to social media to express dissatisfaction with some media houses in the country.

In a video shared on September 8, 2025, LilWin said these media houses often fail to properly reward children who participate in their talent-based reality shows.

He explained that media houses in the country mostly ‘abandon’ the winners of these reality shows after a season is over.

According to LilWin, media houses should provide the kids (winners) of these reality shows with proper management.

“Some of these reality shows are now in season 10, and the rest. Look at the amount of money they generate from votes. After a season, these TV houses should keep the winners of these shows and give them proper management.

“They can even sign them under proper record labels, give them ambassadorial deals. This will help the creative art space in general. It is better than just giving them a small fraction of the money and leaving them to waste,” he said.

He further lamented, “Most of the time, mothers of these young kids invest huge sums of money for their kids to win such competitions. And when these kids become the ultimate winner, the TV station normally abandons them and starts a whole new season.”
