The Spiritual Leader and Founder of the Temple of Rabbi, Asomdwee Ntonton Som (Nkabom), Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, has cautioned Ghanaians, particularly Christians against what he describes as the growing influence of “fake prophets” in the country.

According to him, many self-acclaimed pastors who claim to deliver prophecies are not operating in accordance with the will of God but are instead being influenced by different spirits.

“There is no true man of God in this country. All those things they have been telling you are fake prophecies. There are spirits that those people work with, so they are not from God and you shouldn’t follow them.”

Nyame Somafo Yawoh urged Christians to be discerning and not allow themselves to be misled by spiritual leaders whose teachings and prophecies, he claimed, do not reflect divine truth.

He also called on the leadership of the country to take decisive action against what he described as spiritual forces that do not belong to God. According to him, addressing such influences is critical to national development.

“The leadership of the country needs to wake up and help clamp down on all spiritual forces that do not belong to God to help the country develop,” he stated.

Reflecting on Ghana’s colonial history, he argued that the nation lost much of its dignity during that period and must now take deliberate steps to restore and uplift itself.

“When the country was colonised, all our dignity was taken, so we have to do all we can to uplift the country,” he added.

Nyame Somafo Yawoh made the remarks on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, during the launch of the LTM’s Tour and Sacred Visitation of the Holyland of Ghana at Ekumfie Otuom. The event was organised in collaboration with the Temple of World Peace.

The upcoming tour scheduled for April, is a 12-day programme designed to offer participants the opportunity to visit historical sites and rejuvenate spiritually at the Temple of World Peace.
