Donald Trump will attend the UFC‘s event in Miami on Saturday night, despite the threat of his Iran ceasefire falling apart.

UFC supremo Dana White seemingly confirmed the president’s appearance in a live stream with Adin Ross on Wednesday night.

Referring to Trump as the ‘big guy’, White said: ‘Yeah, it’s good to be back in Miami… we got the big guy coming on Saturday too.’

It will be the first sporting event Trump has attended since the conflict with Iran broke out at the end of February.

White also hinted he will give UFC fans a first glimpse of what is planned for the June 14 event at the White House.

Dubbed ‘UFC Freedom 250’, White said: ‘This Saturday will be the first look for people to see what the South Lawn is going to look like.’

But Trump will be sat cageside at the Kaseya Center in Miami knowing the ceasefire he negotiated earlier this week is already hanging by a thread.

On Wednesday night, Trump vowed the US military was ‘loading up and resting’ for its ‘next conquest’.

It came after chaos erupted in the Middle East over an apparent ten-point peace plan between the US and Iran – with Iran insisting that it included its right to enrich uranium and an end to Israel’s strikes in Lebanon.

However, the US insisted this was not included in the deal while Iran once again shut down the Strait of Hormuz over Israel’s continued airstrikes on Lebanon.

Lebanon was hit with the heaviest bombardment by Israel so far in the conflict, killing 182 people and wounding 800 others, sparking fury from the Islamic Republic.

Tehran dubbed the attack a ‘massacre’ and said it represented a ‘grave violation of the ceasefire’, heightening fears that the regime may back out of the peace process.

‘All US Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, Weaponry and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal persecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded Enemy, will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT is fully complied with,’ Trump wrote in a Truth Social post late Wednesday night.

‘If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the “Shootin’ Starts” bigger, and better and stronger than anyone has ever seen before.’

Trump threatened to strike Iran ‘bigger, and better and stronger’ if authorities cannot reach an agreement on the country’s nuclear program and control of the vital Strait of Hormuz

Trump also denied Iranian claims that a peace deal would include the country’s right to enrich uranium.

‘It was agreed, a long time ago, and despite all of the fake rhetoric to the contrary – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS and the Strait of Hormuz WILL BE OPEN AND SAFE.’

Trump, as well as his counterparts in Iran and Israel, entered into the contentious two-week ceasefire on Tuesday.

Officials representing the three countries are scheduled to meet in Islamabad, Pakistan on Saturday to negotiate an end to the war.
