Don Little is a Ghanaian actor Don Little is a Ghanaian actor

Ghanaian actor Don Little has shared an experience from his trip to Ethiopia, where he says he almost got arrested after a misunderstanding involving currency exchange.

In a video posted on Zionfelix’s Instagram page, Don Little explained that he had arrived in Addis Ababa early in the morning ahead of his midnight flight.

Unfortunately, he only had Ghana cedis on him and no Ethiopian birr. Hungry and stranded, he approached a passerby to ask if they could help him exchange his money into the local currency.

    ‘I have money and I have built a 10-bedroom house but I can’t find a wife’ – Don Little

According to the actor, what he thought would be a simple request turned into a nightmare. Instead of helping, the individual became suspicious, accused him of being a thief, and even called the police.

Don Little said the situation would have taken a dangerous turn if not for another passerby who recognized him as a Ghanaian actor. He mentioned that the person stepped in to explain who he was, preventing his arrest.

I am tired of Ghanaians and their baseless accusations – Don Little fumes

Don Little advised fellow travelers to always exchange their money into the local currency of their destination to avoid finding themselves in such risky situations.

“That was how I had my freedom. But for that person, I would have been arrested and charged. Ghanaians would have had their last laugh over me, all because I was very hungry and had no cash apart from Ghana cedis. I didn’t change money because I didn’t know the waiting time would be extended,” he recounted.
