Port City will be officially crowned champions of Zone Three of the Access Bank Division One League on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Kukurantumi Ohene Park.
The coronation ceremony, scheduled to coincide with Matchday 28, will feature Port City taking on former Premier League side WAFA SC, who are expected to form a guard of honour in recognition of the champions’ achievement. The event is set to attract high-profile attendees, including officials from the Ghana Football Association, traditional authorities, former players, and corporate representatives.
Port City sealed qualification to the Ghana Premier League with four matches to spare, underlining their dominance in the campaign. Their triumph comes after a near miss last season, when they finished second.
The upcoming coronation is expected to draw a large crowd of supporters eager to celebrate the club’s success. Port City’s title win also secures their first-ever promotion to the topflight, marking a historic milestone and the beginning of a new era for the club.
