British Youtuber Ryan Taylor has stirred controversy with a new claim about his former fiancée, Nigerian DJ, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the Ladders Podcast, Taylor said that during their relationship, DJ Cuppy expressed a dislike for her fellow Nigerians and even discouraged him from hiring them.
DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor got engaged in November 2022 after a whirlwind romance that often played out in the public eye.
“Is it m@d if I told you that she didn’t like people from her country? She will come into my business and she didn’t want me to have her fellow country people as staff. We used to walk in the mall and people would run from their counters and ask for money.” He said
However, by mid-2023, the couple had unfollowed each other on social media and removed joint posts, fueling rumors of a split.
The comments have sparked heated discussions on social media, with many users expressing shock and disappointment, while others have defended Cuppy.
Despite the accusations, Ryan Taylor maintained that he holds no regrets about the relationship.
Below are some of the comments;
“At this point you’re no longer her ex, you’re one of the principalities wey no get power.”
“Trying to turn her people against her? She’s used to being dragged already. Crawl away.”
“How would your wife feel seeing you constantly talking about your ex ehn brother ode.“
“Why he dey tell us now, so make we go dey hate on cuppy?”
