DJ Carcious has officially been crowned the Best DJ, Ashanti Region, at the prestigious 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.

The official DJ for the Mid-Morning Radio Show on Y102.5FM in Kumasi was announced the winner at a star-studded ceremony held at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra on Saturday, November 29.

The win is a confirmation of DJ Carcious’s position as a dominant force, not only in the region’s vibrant music scene but in the entire country.

For years, DJ Carcious has been a fixture in the Ashanti Region, known for his seamless mixes, infectious energy, and ability to keep any crowd on their feet.

From electrifying club nights to major music concerts, he has consistently delivered unforgettable sets that blend the latest hits with classic bangers, earning him a reputation as a true crowd-pleaser.

In 2023, DJ Carcious won the DJ/Artist Collaboration Of The Year with his hit single Esther, which featured Medikal and Bogo Blay.

Expressing his appreciation after the win, DJ Carcious, in a post shared to Facebook, wrote, “I’m deeply humbled and grateful to be crowned Best DJ in the Ashanti Region at the just-ended Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2025. First, all glory to God for His grace and guidance.

“And to everyone who believed in me, shared my posts, encouraged me, and took time to vote. I appreciate you more than words can express. This award is not just mine; it belongs to all of us. This is only the beginning—let’s keep pushing, keep growing, and keep making the Ashanti Region proud! Thank you all. God bless you.”

The Ghana DJ Awards, now in its 13th edition, continues to be the definitive platform for celebrating and honouring the hard work and artistry of Ghanaian disc jockeys.

DJ Carcious’s win is a proud moment for the Ashanti Region and a clear indication that the region’s music scene is thriving.

In a related development, DJ Carcious has announced his annual Welcome To December event.

The event, which ushers the city into the festive season, will take place at Sky Bar (SG Mall) on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
