Ghana’s Amapiano King and the owner of DJ Azonto Microfinance has sent a warning to Nigerian superstars, Asake and Davido, against his new “Check N See” slogan.
According to DJ Azonto, Asake recently performed at Afrofuture in Detroit, wearing a wig, something that he introduced and believes is a clear attempt for Asake to copy his image.
But Asake was not alone at the receiving end of this bashing. DJ Azonto also sent a message to Davido, stating that during his highly publicised wedding with Chioma in Miami, Davido used a lipstick that DJ Azonto confirmed as his “Alla Woyo” brand.

DJ Azonto had, however, earlier made bold demands as compensation from Asake, including requesting that his face is printed on the Nigerian Naira note, the name of the Adeleke University changed to DJ Azonto Microfinance, and that he should be receiving other compensations from both Asake and the Adeleke family, but which have all been ignored.
In his recent interview, DJ Azonto stated that once again, he has released a new song with his popular “Check N See” and “Fully Active” slogans.
He, therefore, warned Davido and Asake not to steal the terms he used in the song, or use them in any of their songs.
“I won’t allow Asake and Davido to steal or use my new term Check N See and Fully Active. Unlike the dressing which is now with my lawyers, if they use this term, I will escalate the issue to the FBI, and the President of Ghana and Nigeria will be informed as well,” DJ Azonto stated.
The “Fa No Fom” hitmaker urged fans to keep supporting him and that he has more in store for them.
He is currently promoting “Check N See”, a song that has been anticipated by many lovers of his music for long.
