Police have launched a murder investigation after a 37-year-old woman vanished last week.

Paria Veisi hasn’t been seen since leaving her place of work in the Canton area of Cardiff at around 3pm on Saturday.

Police are now saying they have ‘no proof’ the businesswoman is alive.

A 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman have both been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

She was caught on CCTV driving her black Mercedes GLC 220, which was later found just a couple on miles away on Dorchester Avenue, Penylan, on Tuesday evening.

South Wales Police issued an appeal to locate the missing woman on Wednesday night.

The force said her disappearance is totally out of character and officers are concerned for her welfare.

It has also released an image of Paria, who is described as having has long, curly, black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black zip-up gym top over a red top, black trousers, and trainers and carrying a small handbag.
