Diddy MOCKS trial prosecutors in dramatic closing arguments as rapper prays: Live updates

Diddy’s defense lawyers kicked off closing statements in the mogul’s trial on Friday with a healthy amount of sarcasm.

They found it, boxes of Astroglide. Take it off the streets! Whoo!’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo exclaimed, referring to the hundreds of bottles of lubricant and baby oil that were found in Diddy‘s mansion as a result of a 2024 Miami home raid.

In a separate reference to the mogul’s ex Jane testifying against him during the trial, Agnifilo claimed that Diddy ‘took care of her’ and that she had a ‘beautiful’ home for her child because of him.

‘I don’t know what she’s doing today but I hope she’s having a nice day in the house he’s paying for,’ the defense said.

Before closing arguments started, Diddy was seen smiling and praying with his lawyers.

Prosecutors finished their closing arguments on Thursday after five hours. The defense’s closing arguments are expected to end today.

Diddy denies any wrongdoing in the federal charges brought against him.

The court takes a break

The court is currently in a short break.

Jurors have currently heard two hours and 30 minutes of the defense’s closing statements.

Diddy’s lawyers suggested their closing statements may be up to four hours long today.

Diddy’s children appear to share a joke

In court on Friday, Diddy’s sons Justin, King and Quincy Combs appeared to share a joke with his daughters Jessie, Chance and D’Lila.

His family giggled as the defense discussed the alleged bribery of InterContinental security guard Israel Florez for the footage of Diddy violently dragging Cassie in the hotel’s hallways in 2016.

‘No evidence’ that Kid Cudi’s car firebombing was Diddy’s doing

Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi testified in court that Sean Combs became enraged after he found out about his affair with Cassie Ventura in 2011.

Mescudi received a call from his dog sitter in January 2012 informing him that his  vehicle was on fire on his driveway, the court heard.

It was later discovered that a molotov cocktail had appeared to be used in the arson.

Diddy’s lawyer in closing statements on Friday said that there was no evidence that the mogul had anything to do with the car’s destruction.

‘Blowing up a man’s car is cowardly. It’s a coward’s way out. Come on! He’s a fighter, he’s a fighter,’ defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo claimed.

Jurors hear that Capricorn Clark was not kidnapped

Diddy’s former personal assistant Capricorn Clark told jurors at his trial that she was forced to take lie detector tests for five days and threatened with being thrown in the East River if she failed.

Clark said she was left ‘petrified’ after being brought to an abandoned building in New York and locked in while being questioned about the hip hop mogul’s missing jewelry.

‘This is (supposedly) a kidnapping, she’s not saying she was harassed. She was kidnapped. She went home – every day! She said I kept doing it because I wanted to pass and get back to my job ‘ Diddy’s lawyer exclaimed.

He then turned to face the jury and said:

‘You guys are stuck in here for hours. Anyone feel kidnapped? You’re about as kidnapped as she was kidnapped!’

Defense says Cassie ‘played’ both Diddy and Kid Cudi

In court on Friday, Diddy defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo said that Cassie ‘played’ both Diddy and Kid Cudi during her short-lived relationship with the rapper in late 2011.

‘She’s scared to death of Sean Combs, afraid of what he might do?

‘She lied to him for a long time over and over as she had a relationship with another singer songwriter under his nose,’ Agnifilo stated.

He went on to claim that Cassie was keeping it ‘gangster’ and was ‘in it for the long haul’ by purchasing a burner phone to keep their relationship private.

‘We’re here because of money,’ defense claims

Diddy’s ex girlfriend Cassive Ventura sued him for $30million in a civil lawsuit in November 2023 because the mogul had $30million available in the bank, the defense claimed on Friday.

‘881 times the word love appears in this trial. This trials about love. The trial’s about jealousy, so much about jealousy. It’s about infidelity. It’s about money.’

Lawyers said the mogul ‘owned’ domestic violence accusations.

‘We own the domestic violence. I hope you guys noticed when Ms Ventura testified we didn’t ask her a single question to challenge her about being hit being dragged.’

Marc Agnifilo went on to say that Cassie was ‘nobody’s fool.’

‘She’s sitting somewhere in the world with $30million. If you had to pick a winner in this thing it’s Cassie. Cassie flat won.’

Diddy’s sex life was ‘criminalized,’ court hears

‘They found it, boxes of Astroglide. Take it off the streets! Whoo!’ Marc Agnifilo claimed of the raid on Diddy’s Miami mansion in 2024.

‘Thank goodness, they found the astroglide. They got five valium pills, way to go fellahs. You guys just do you,’ he continued sarcastically.

‘They take yellow crime scene tape and wrap it around his bedroom…Where’s the crime scene? The crime scene is your private sex life, that’s the crime scene.’

Diddy’s lawyer takes a swipe at Jane

Prosecutors have argued that Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, who testified under the pseudonym Jane, was groomed and coerced by Diddy into freak offs.

Diddy’s lawyer claimed that was not a part of the mogul’s character.

‘The man takes care of people. Jane came up her and testified against him,’ his lawyer said.

‘I don’t know what she’s doing today but I hope she’s having a nice day in the house he’s paying for.’

Being around Diddy was like ‘drinking from a firehose’ lawyer claims

In defense closing statements, Marc Agnifilo claimed that those who were around Diddy were all grateful for their experiences.

‘Being with him was like going to Harvard Business School….like drinking from a firehose,’ he said of witness testimony.

‘Did they always like him? No way. Let’s not even go there. They didn’t always like him but they loved him,’ Agnifilo stated.

Diddy’s family arrive to court

Diddy’s mother Janice Combs, sons King, Justin, and Quincy and daughters D’Lila, Chance and Jessie arrive to court on Friday.

The mogul’s family have shown support throughout the seven week course of the mogul’s trial.

Diddy’s lawyer says trial is ‘false and exaggerated’

In court on Friday, Diddy lawyer Marc Agnifilo said the mogul’s seven week sex trafficking trial was not ‘real’ and that it has been ‘false and exaggerated.’

‘From the mouths of the witness from the evidence, the text messages, what do you see? What is that trial? It’s personal use drugs, that’s what it is,’ he said.

‘The trial of the evidence is a lifestyle. You want to call it swingers. You want to call it threesomes that’s what it is,’ he continued.

‘That is not what the prosecutors are saying to you.The prosecutors have charged one of the most serious complicated comprehensive statutes on the books. That is the false trial, that is the exaggerated trial, that is not the real trial.’

Diddy lawyer Marc Agnifilo leads defense closing statements

‘This trial is a tale of two trials,’ he began in court on Friday.

‘It is the trial told from the mouths of the witnesses, there’s the trial told from the text messages, there’s the trial told from the videos. There’s the trial that’s told in the evidence. That’s one trial.

‘The second trial is a very different trial…the trial as told from the mouths of the prosecutors.

‘The trial told from the mouths of the prosecutors is very different, nothing like the trial told from the evidence,’ he began.

I was a regular at Diddy’s freak offs… here’s the details the jury weren’t told about what happened once the baby oil went on

He was slathered in baby oil, having wild sex with a beautiful woman, and earning mountains of cash.

And if her famous rapper boyfriend wanted to meticulously choreograph and film the action to satisfy his private appetites, that was all part of the VIP service.

Diddy’s ‘freak off’ parties were just another lucrative porn gig for Anton Harden, a male escort and OnlyFans star known for being enormously well-endowed.

That was until the woman involved told the hip hop mogul’s sex trafficking trial she was coerced into taking part in their drug-fueled romps lasting up to six hours.

Diddy’s cunning courtroom tricks to win over the jury… and some say it’s working

He’s in the fight of his life in a Manhattan courtroom – and Sean Diddy Combs is pulling out all the stops to win back his freedom.

The music mogul, on trial for racketeering and sexual trafficking, remains hopeful he will be acquitted at the end of the long drawn out criminal blockbuster.

His defense strategy has impressed legal analysts – his lawyers have argued that while he may be a monster, sex addict and drug addled fiend, he’s not guilty of the crimes the jury has been asked to consider.

But their arguments aren’t the only way Diddy is subtly trying to curry favor.

From his wardrobe to his courtroom props and even interactions with witnesses and jurors, the 55-year-old is leaving nothing off the table when it comes to fighting for his freedom.

Diddy scores huge courtroom victory as prosecutors DROP key parts of charges this week

Diddy scored a huge courtroom victory after prosecutors decided to drop key parts of the charges against him.

In a letter to U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian prosecutors said they will no longer pursue theories presented during the blockbuster trial, including that the music mogul was involved in attempted arson and kidnapping.

The two alleged acts were initially included in the government’s racketeering conspiracy charge against Combs. All charges against him still remain.

Diddy did not testify in his trial

Diddy cut off the judge presiding over his sex trafficking trial to tell him that he would not be testifying on Tuesday afternoon.

Combs, 55, stood up in front of Judge Arun Subramanian and confirmed his answer, and even spoke over him to make it clear he won’t be taking the stand.

The judge asked Diddy: ‘Have you discussed whether you should or should not?’

‘Yes, thoroughly. Yes, have discussed it,’ the rapper replied, in his first words to the Manhattan court since his federal sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial started over seven weeks ago.

Judge Subramanian began to speak before Diddy cut him off and added: ‘That is solely my decision. It’s my decision with my lawyers.’

Diddy’s team slapped down by judge over bizarre Iran defense as monster trial nears verdict

Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ legal team was slapped down by the judge presiding over his trial because of their alleged attempt to use the escalating conflict with Iran in their upcoming closing argument.

As the disgraced hip-hop mogul’s bombshell sex trafficking trial nears a verdict, his team of attorneys reportedly planned on bringing up the escalating tensions between the US and Iran in court in a bid to relate it to his case, TMZ reported Monday.

Sources told the outlet the 55-year-old’s defense ‘may invoke the recent conflict’ in their closing argument, and specifically go after the Homeland Security Investigators who raided his home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles in March.

Government prosecutor Christy Slavik’s final statement in closing arguments Thursday

To end her closing argument on Thursday, Slavik finished the prosecution’s closing arguments with: ‘A lot of evidence was hard to hear, hard to see.

‘The defendant ran his criminal enterprise with total control and with the loyal assistance of his inner circle.

‘Foot soldiers, personal assistants….who knew their one job was to say yes to the defendant.

‘All of this [paints a] clear picture of how the defendant committed crime after crime for two decades, how he didn’t take no for an answer….

‘Up until today the defendant was able to get away with these crimes because of his money, his power and influence. That stops now, it’s time to hold him accountable.’ she ended.

Prosecutor’s closing argument lasts nearly five hours on Thursday

The prosecutor’s closing argument went on for four hours and 49 minutes Thursday.

Diddy and son Justin Combs accused of gang rape in bombshell new lawsuit

Diddy and his son Justin Combs, whom he shares with Misa Hylton, were accused of brutal gang rape by a Louisana woman in a shocking new lawsuit.

The documents, obtained by Page Six, allege that Justin lured the woman, whom he met on Snapchat in 2017, out to California under the promise of helping her career in the entertainment industry.

When she arrived, she claimed she was plied with drugs and alcohol by Justin before three ‘masked men’ arrived to the home to brutally gang rape her for several hours. She claimed one of the men was Diddy, 55.

In the documents, she said she was able to identify the music mogul by his ‘mannerisms,’ and alleged that Justin called him ‘Pops.’

Diddy’s attorney denies any wrongdoing.

‘No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor,’ a lawyer for the rapper said.

‘We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.’
