Award-winning gospel singer Diana Hamilton, is out with a new single ‘Me Nyankopon Papabi’ (My Good God), which is an honest celebration of God’s blessings and the progress He has made in her and many others’ lives.

Renowned Ghanaian music producer Kaywa produced the song, which combines modern global elements with contemporary highlife. After He Loves Me and My Praise, it is Hamilton’s third single of the year.

The singer’s family’s house in the Kumasi suburb of Afful Nkwanta served as the location for the official music video. With unique props and locations that capture her childhood, the video, which was directed by McWillies of Flashbak Media, vividly depicts Diana’s modest beginnings.

“This is a testimony of God’s goodness; a reminder that no matter your background, God can lift you to higher ground,” Hamilton shared during the release in a report by myjoyonline.com.

Diana Hamilton is a nurse by profession and has become one of Ghana’s most well-known gospel singers. Her songs, including Eye Woa, Yehowa Behwe, and Mo Ne Yo, helped her gain national recognition.

In 2021, she became the first female gospel performer to win the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ prized Artiste of the Year title.
