Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Asamoah, has stirred massive reactions on social media after a video of her consoling Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, surfaced online.

In the widely shared clip, the award-winning gospel singer was seen standing close to Akosua Serwaa, gently holding her by the neck as she ministered her popular song “Mabo wo din.”

The emotional rendition was meant to comfort and strengthen the grieving widow as she continues to navigate life after the death of the highlife legend.

The touching moment has been described by many social media users as a powerful display of love, solidarity, and spiritual encouragement.

For several observers, the video also underscored the widespread support Akosua Serwaa continues to receive from Ghanaians, including well-known personalities in the entertainment industry.

However, the encounter has not been without controversy. Diana Asamoah’s visit has sparked intense debate online, with some users questioning whether the gospel musician has officially aligned herself with Akosua Serwaa’s camp, popularly referred to as “Team Legal Wives,” amid the ongoing legal issues surrounding Daddy Lumba’s marital status.

Beyond Diana Asamoah’s visit, other notable musicians and industry players, including Kofi Nti, Appeatu, and KK Foso, have also reportedly visited the residence of the late singer’s first wife to console her and offer their condolences during this difficult period.
