Ghanaian musician Edwin Eshun, popularly known as Beeztrap KOTM, has expressed his opinion on a recent trending topic on social media where some netizens have noted that Nigerians have stolen “Detty December” from Ghanaians.

In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb journalist Joseph Henry Mensah during the 2024 Rapperholic concert, the “Yesu” hitmaker noted that the “Detty December” season is staying with Ghanaians, and no other country can take it away from them.

“I am just working, but this December, I have not really been in Accra. I have been to Dormaa and its environs, but Detty December is for Ghana, and no one can take it away from us,” he noted.

Beeztrap KOTM added that the year 2024 has been a year of breakthrough for him, and he would, therefore, give his best to stay consistent in the coming year.

“2024 has been my year of breakthrough. It has been my year of blessing. I have been doing this music thing, but I think I was accepted this year. I can’t lie; I kept it cool in 2024, but 2025 is going to be scary. It is going to be very dangerous. I am going to give them back to back,” he added.

The 2024 Rapperholic concert occurred at the Grand Arena in Accra International Conference Centre on December 25, 2024.

Ghanaian artistes like King Promise, King Paluta, Pappy Kojo, and Efya Noktunal, as well as Nigerian singers like Ruger, Patoranking, and many others, were also present to support the musician.
