A Nigerian man of God, Pastor George Bruno, has ignited widespread conversations following comments he made during a recent discussion on TV3, where he shared strong views on marriage, sex, and responsibility in the home.
According to the outspoken pastor, a woman who refuses her husband sex is “foolish” and failing to build a proper home.
He argued that denying a man sex has serious consequences, claiming it can even reduce a man’s age.
“If your husband is drinking alcohol, then you’re a foolish woman and you’re not building a home. How can you be denying your husband sex? If you deny a man sex, you’re reducing his age by one year,” he said.
Pastor Bruno further stated that a wife should make herself sexually-available to her husband at all times, regardless of circumstances.

“Even if the man is dirty and he hasn’t brushed his teeth for one year, let him kiss you. Whenever and wherever he wants it, give it to him because it’s his right,” he shared.
Touching on marriage choices, the pastor advised women to carefully assess their partners before tying the knot, stressing that marriages should be based on genuine love, rather than pressure or financial gain.
“Before you marry a man, assess him very well. Know whether you’re truly in love with the man or someone is pushing you to love him or you’re going for his money. Just make sure it’s love-based,” he stated.
He also linked a man’s behaviour, including alcohol consumption, directly to actions of wives, suggesting that men drink as a result of problems created in the home.
“Your husband will not drink alcohol if it’s love-based. He drinks to forget your problems and because of you. If your husband is misbehaving, then it’s your fault. You have to know where you’re getting it wrong and correct yourself,” Pastor George added.
