Deborah Seyram Adablah, a former NSS member who sued her alleged’sugar daddy’ for breach of promise, was sentenced to 45 days in jail by the Accra High Court after being found guilty of contempt.

The decision came during a high-profile legal dispute between Adablah and former First Atlantic Bank executive Ernest Kwesi Nimako.

Adablah, who garnered national notoriety in 2023 after suing Nimako for breach of promise, was charged with contempt for her latest social media rants against the judiciary.

According to reports, she violated a court order by making disrespectful remarks against the presiding judge, Justice John Bosco Nabarese, accusing him of bias and unprofessional conduct.

In YouTube videos, Adablah openly questioned the court’s treatment of her case, calling Ghana’s judiciary into doubt and warning the judge to be fair in his findings. Her remarks, which were broadcast in open court, affected the judge’s decision to issue a bench warrant for her arrest.
