Ghanaian musician, Paul Nii Amu Andrew Darko, known in the entertainment space as Darkovibes, has survived a car accident that occurred in the early hours of July 28, 2025.

The incident happened sometime around dawn, but what caused the accident is not yet known. What is clear, however, is that the damage to the vehicle was severe.

Darkovibes, who is a member of the music collective “La Même Gang”, is believed to have been with Ghanaian content creator, MadeinGhana, at the time of the accident.

The two shared an image on Snapchat showing a badly damaged black Honda Civic, believed to be the car involved in the crash.

Although neither of them provided specific details about how the accident happened, it appears that Darkovibes did not suffer any major injuries.

In his Snapchat post, the musician thanked God for sparing his life.

“Sometimes we plan but God smiles. We give thanks to life,” he captioned the photo.

This is not the first time Darkovibes has been involved in a car crash. In 2023, the musician escaped another accident while driving on the Tema-Accra Motorway.

According to reports at the time, he was trying to avoid potholes on the road when he hit one, causing one of his tyres to burst.

He later posted a video showing his damaged car, with the front right tyre completely destroyed.
