Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) 154-pound champion Callum Dan (8-0, 7 KOs) successfully captured the vacant WBC OPBF Youth Super Middleweight (168-pound) title by stopping multiple regional title challenger Poramin Saengpak (23-16, 18 KOs) on Saturday, July 25, at World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dan, a UK fighter who made his professional debut in Thailand on April 6, 2025, controlled most of the fight and won the first two rounds on all scorecards. In the third round, Dan landed a powerful body shot that nearly dropped Poramin, who was kept upright by the ropes. The UK fighter capitalized on the opportunity, increasing his assault and flooring the Thai fighter with a left hook. Although Poramin managed to get back to his feet, Dan launched another fierce attack and landed a right hand that sent the Thai fighter down again, forcing referee Kris Sanyadej to stop the bout at 1:54 of the third round.

In the other co-main event, Mikael Arutyunyan (20-2, 17 KOs) scored a second-round knockout over Watcharaphon Ohnuch (6-1, 2 KOs) to capture the vacant ABF Featherweight title. In the opening round, the experienced Armenian fighter aggressively attacked the Thai with body shots, while Watcharaphon responded well. However, early in the second round, Arutyunyan landed a right hook to the left rib cage, sending Watcharaphon crashing to the canvas for an eight-count. The Armenian seized the opportunity, landing another right hand to finish Watcharaphon for the full 10-count at 2:35 of the round.

John Michael Zulueta (21-0-3, 13 KOs) successfully retained his ABF Flyweight title by outpointing Xolieng Souvannaphakdy (8-16-1, 4 KOs). Through the first four rounds, the experienced Filipino controlled the fight with effective counterattacking tactics that frustrated the Laotian’s aggression. Beginning in the fifth round, Zulueta increased his pace and landed more precise punches to both the body and head, causing Souvannaphakdy to stumble while still managing to endure the punishment. After 10 rounds, all three judges scored the bout 98-92 in favor of Zulueta, awarding him a unanimous decision.
