Daddy Lumba’s two sisters, Ernestina Fosu and Faustina Fosu, together with his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, have called for the arrest of Odo Broni and the late musician’s manager, Roman Fada.

In a communiqué sighted on social media, the trio expressed deep concern about the circumstances surrounding Daddy Lumba’s death, alleging that there are unanswered questions and possible foul play.

According to them, the family has yet to receive clear information on what caused the music icon’s passing, prompting suspicions that Odo Broni; the woman who lived with Daddy Lumba until his death, and his longtime manager, Roman Fada, may be withholding vital information.

“The family is also calling on the Ghana Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to question Mr. Priscilla O. and Mr. Philip Kwabena A. (also known as Roman Fada) to assist in uncovering the truth about the death of their loved one, Charles Kwadwo Fosuh,” part of the statement read.

The family has also extended their plea beyond Ghana, urging the German Embassy in Accra, the Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt – BKA) in Wiesbaden, Germany, and the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) in Berlin to take an interest in the case, considering Daddy Lumba’s long-standing ties to Germany.

The communiqué emphasized the family’s commitment to ensuring transparency and justice, insisting that the circumstances surrounding the Highlife legend’s death must be thoroughly investigated.

The call for investigation adds to the growing public tension between Akosua Serwaa, Daddy Lumba’s legally recognized wife, and Odo Broni, his alleged second partner.
