A resurfaced social media post from the late highlife icon Daddy Lumba has reignited public debate over who his true legal wife is, with many fans now concluding that Odo Broni may have held that position.
The throwback post, originally shared on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2025, on the musician’s verified Facebook page, featured a touching tribute to two women he described as the most important in his life — his late mother, Ama Saah (Comfort Gyamfi), and Odo Broni (Priscilla Ofori Atta).
The post included a photo of both women — Daddy Lumba’s mother elegantly dressed in a gown with a matching hat, and Odo Broni casually attired in a black sweater and blue jeans.
In his caption, Daddy Lumba openly expressed his deep love and appreciation for both women, notably referring to Odo Broni as his wife and even identifying her with his surname.
He wrote:
“Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing mothers. Especially to my hero in heaven, Comfort Gyamfi (Ama Saah), and my beautiful wife, Priscilla Ofori Fosuh, Odo Broni. I love you so much.”
The resurfaced post has since gone viral, stirring renewed online conversations about the long-running dispute between Odo Broni and Akosua Serwah Fosuh, who has been publicly recognized by the late singer’s family as the legal widow under Ghanaian and German law.
Many social media users have interpreted the old post as evidence that Daddy Lumba himself regarded Odo Broni as his wife, despite ongoing legal and familial clarifications stating otherwise.
