The children of legendary Ghanaian highlife musician Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, have issued a strong statement dismissing reports suggesting they have a problem with their mother, Mrs. Akosua Serwaa Fosuh.

In an official press release dated January 20, 2026, the children described the circulating social media narratives as false, malicious, and deeply misleading.

According to them, claims that they are planing to arrest with mother or that there are attempts to prevent her from speaking on their behalf are completely baseless.

The children stressed that their relationship with their mom remains strong, loving, and unbreakable.

They also addressed allegations leveled against businessman Kenpong, who has been accused in some quarters of having hidden motives for supporting their mother.

According to the children, these suggestions are reckless and unfair, especially during a sensitive period for the family .

They also declared their unwavering loyalty to their mother and emphasised that they stand with her through all the current challenges.

The children ended with a call on the public to ignore and refrain from spreading rumours that threaten family unity and disrespect the legacy of their late father.
