Entertainment pundit and media personality, MC Yaa Yeboah, has weighed in on the ongoing discussions surrounding legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba and his relationships with the two women in his life.

Speaking on United Showbiz on October 12, 2025, Yaa Yeboah mentioned that the controversies emerging after the musician’s passing are simply results of the personal decisions he made during his lifetime.

“Whether we like it or not, these are the consequences of Daddy Lumba’s choices he made.

“To avoid all these conversations, when he noticed that Odo Broni was the one he wanted and had been with for years, he should have divorced his first wife since he had found the one he loved,” she said.

Why didn’t Akosua Serwaa sue Daddy Lumba when he was alive? – MC Yaa Yeboah asks

She expressed disappointment at Akosua Serwaa and Odo Broni, urging both parties to maintain respect and ensure Daddy Lumba is buried with dignity.

“As it stands now, let’s ensure that this man is buried with dignity. Both women are disgracing themselves over the widowhood rites. If it’s about the properties, his children are many and everyone would get his/her share. We are pleading that we want to bury this legend in peace” she stated.

MC Yaa Yeboah, however, commended the late musician for the respect and balance he maintained between both women, despite the complexities of his personal life.

“Before Daddy Lumba’s demise, he gave the maximum respect to both women. These are two women who played major roles in his life, and the man in question never disrespected any of these women on any platform” she added.
