The manager of late Ghanaian highlife musician, Dada KD, has revealed that the singer was rushed to three different hospitals before his death, but none of them had doctors available to attend to him.

Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime TV, the artiste’s manager, King Pee, shared the sad events that led up to the passing of Dada KD, whose death was of announced on the night of May 16, 2025.

According to King Pee, time was wasted as they moved from one hospital to another, hoping to get medical attention for the musician, but they were turned away each time due to the absence of doctors.

“Dada KD was rushed to three different hospitals, yet no doctors were available,” he said.

When asked if he could mention the names of the hospitals, King Pee refused, saying he preferred not to.

“I do not want to mention the names of the hospitals, I’m sorry,” he replied.

He further explained that because of the lack of doctors at the initial hospitals, they had to eventually take the artiste to a private hospital in Gbawe, a suburb of Accra.

“These hospitals had no doctors, and that’s how come we ended up at a private hospital in Gbawe,” he added.
