Cristiano Ronaldo’s statue has been set ablaze by a man who filmed the incident and posted it online.
In the viral video, the suspect is seen pouring a flammable liquid over the bronze statue outside the CR7 Museum in Funchal before igniting it with a lighter.
Flames briefly engulfed parts of the sculpture as the man danced erratically to loud rap music playing from a portable speaker, narrowly avoiding injury as he stepped back from the fire.
At one point, he reportedly referred to the act as “God’s final warning.”
