What was supposed to be a night of music and memories turned briefly wild when a fan of award-winning Ghanaian musician Black Sherif accidentally hit the artist on the mouth during his performance at the Pepsodent Black and White Timeline event held on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

The unexpected incident happened on stage in the middle of Black Sherif’s electrifying performance.

A fan, identified by Black Sherif as Agbovi, who had made his way onto the stage, appeared visibly ecstatic and possibly under the influence of something.

Initially, the interaction between him and Black Sherif was a nice one as the he waved and danced alongside music sensation.

But moments later, the Agbovi’s behavior turned hysterical. In a shocking and uncontrolled move, he forcefully lunged toward Black Sherif, and in the process, accidentally struck him on the lips, causing the artist to recoil in pain.

Black Sherif paused for a moment, held his mouth, and, with a mix of disbelief and humor, looked directly at the fan and blurted out, “Agbovi is going mad”

Security quickly stepped in to remove the overzealous fan from the stage, and Black Sherif, ever the professional, continued his performance despite the discomfort.
