A video that a Nigerian corper posted on X (Twitter) of his experience serving in the North has resonated with viewers online, especially those who have either finished or are currently undergoing their service.

The video featured the young man in his corper uniform surrounded by a bunch of teens in their school uniforms, who were sitting in their run down classroom, not paying him any mind.

In the video, he sat down with his hand on his forehead, looking extremely frustrated, while the students looked on.

He revealed that due to the language barrier, he was unable to effectively communicate with his students, leaving him at a loss for what to do.

The students only spoke Hausa, their native language, which he did not understand as he was from another part of the nation.

He called on the help of netizens to give him guidance on how to navigate his situation, many of whom responded with jokes or unhelpful advice.

Others were more sympathetic to his plight, lamenting about the state of education in the country.
