Six acres of vines producing cabernet sauvignon grapes, a sparkling blue swimming pool, and a perfectly maintained tennis court: this is Nancy Pelosi‘s luxury Napa Valley winery seen for the first time in exclusive Daily Mail photos.
The San Francisco Democrat and Speaker Emerita, 86, is one of Washington’s wealthiest politicians and has the swanky properties to prove it.
Her main home is a 1938 mansion in San Francisco’s tony Pacific Heights neighborhood while work weeks in DC see her holed up in a $5 million condo in a ritzy building perched on the bank of the Potomac River.
But palatial though those properties are, they pale in comparison to her Napa Valley vineyard pad just outside the upscale California town of St Helena.
Exclusive Daily Mail photos reveal the sprawling size of the property which includes lush gardens, an Italianate main house and even a private putting green for the veteran politician’s golf enthusiast husband Paul, who turns 86 on Wednesday.
Set back up a long driveway that runs alongside the Napa River, the lavish property also has its own barn where the grapes grown on Pelosi’s vines are stored.
But while the fruit is used to make wine, you won’t find a bottle of Chateau Neuf du Pelosi in the store – the produce is sold to local vintners instead, raking in a profit of between $100,000 and $1 million a year according to Pelosi’s most recent financial disclosure form.
The plush pad has long sparked controversy for the octogenarian due to both its $25 million price tag and its proximity to some of the most expensive real estate in California.

Like the Pacific Heights property, the vineyard was purchased in the early 1990s and has seen its value skyrocket over the years in line with homes across Napa Valley and the Bay Area.
The Pelosis also own two commercial buildings in downtown San Francisco and rake in between $100,000 and $1 million per year in rental income on each one.
On top of that, the couple own a share in the $2,205-a-night Auberge du Soleil – a five-star Napa Valley hotel which is known for hosting famous guests, among them Sting, Bob Dylan and late greats Olivia Newton-John and Robert Redford.
In total, the couple are believed to be worth between $114m and $400m – mostly driven by high performing property investments made by Paul and stocks in businesses ranging from Google parent company Alphabet to American Express.
Pelosi’s California homes have also made headlines of their own, in particular the San Francisco mansion which was the scene of a horror hammer attack on Paul in 2022.
The incident saw Canadian David du Pape force his way into the property demanding to see Pelosi, only to find Paul there alone.
After being told the congresswoman wasn’t there, an enraged du Pape struck Paul over the head with a hammer, leaving him with a cracked skull.
The Napa Valley home hit the headlines the same year when Paul was collared for a DUI in Yountville when he crashed his 2021 Porsche car on the way home from a dinner party in nearby Oakville.

The smash, which saw him collide with a vehicle driven by a man called Jesus Lopez, left him unharmed but did see him hauled off to jail and booked on charges of being over the legal limit.
He later pleaded guilty and was handed three years’ probation by a Napa County judge.
Pelosi’s vast fortune and elite social standing have opened doors far beyond Capitol Hill – with the two earning a place on guest lists typically reserved for Hollywood stars.
Earlier this year, Pelosi shocked Hollywood’s most glamorous night when she appeared on the red carpet at the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscars after party.
Her appearance prompted a wave of baffled reactions online from viewers wondering why the veteran politician had shown up to one of entertainment’s most exclusive gatherings.
The Democratic powerhouse arrived alongside her husband, stepping onto the famed carpet just hours after the Academy Awards ceremony wrapped up.
Entertainment insiders quickly circulated photos of the couple posing together.

Over the years, the lawmaker and her husband have become almost as famous for their financial success as for her political career.
When Pelosi first won election to Congress in 1987 at age 47, financial disclosure forms showed that she and Paul had a net worth of roughly $3 million, including between $610,000 and $785,000 in stocks.
Nearly four decades later, that portfolio has ballooned dramatically.
Estimates from Quiver Quantitative suggest the Pelosi family’s stock holdings are now worth about $133.7 million.
That represents a staggering gain of roughly 17,000 percent, far outpacing the 5,282 percent rise of the S&P 500 and the 2,339 percent increase in the Dow Jones Industrial Average over the same period.
Even after accounting for inflation, analysts say the couple’s portfolio performance equates to an average annual return of about 14.5 percent, roughly double the typical long-term performance of major US stock indexes.
