Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has urged his players to avoid complacency ahead of their Ghana Premier League Week 24 clash against Karela United on Sunday.

Speaking before the encounter at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Amissah stressed that his side must show full respect to their opponents despite playing at home. He acknowledged Karela United’s strength, pointing to their quality on the bench and solid performances on the road this season.

“We won’t take them for granted because they have a good coach,” Amissah said.

The Bechem United trainer disclosed that his technical team has been studying Karela’s style of play to ensure they are tactically prepared for the challenge.

“I’ve not watched their matches before, but we will watch them and plan with a system we believe can get us the results,” he added.

Although he anticipates a difficult contest, Amissah expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure maximum points.

Sunday’s 3:00 pm fixture carries significance for both sides, with Bechem United seeking to climb into mid-table safety while Karela United continue their push for a top four finish in the Ghana Premier League.
