Defending Ghana Premier League champions, FC Samartex, have officially unveiled Christopher Ennin as their new head coach.
Ennin replaces Nurudeen Amadu, who left the club due to their poor run of form.
Despite guiding the side to lift the Premier League title, Samartex suffered elimination from the FA Cup and also exited at the preliminary round in their maiden participation in the CAF Champions League.
A statement by the club read, “Chris is our man. We are delighted to confirm that Christopher Ennin has agreed to become the club’s new head coach.”
Ennin joins the side with enormous experience, having previously worked with Berekum Chelsea. His last job was at the Premier League of Eswatini side Moneni Pirates, where he took charge in the summer but decided to resign just recently to take up the vacant role at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
He will hope to turn the fortunes of FC Samartex around after amassing only 17 points after 14 games in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
FC Samartex will host Nations FC in the next round of fixtures in the Ghana Premier League at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
