A father never made it home for dinner with his family in New Jersey after he was fatally shot with a bow-and-arrow by a manic man, caught on camera.
Pablo Criollo, 45, was walking home from work when he was shot in the back by an arrow on Saturday, around 6.45pm in Kearny, about 11 miles west of New York City.
Criollo of Harrison was brought to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead, according to a press release from the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
Surveillance footage from a business near Kearny Avenue showed how the tragedy unfolded.
The father-of-two could be seen walking down the street when a snap of the bow is heard. Almost instantly, he reaches for the arrow plunged in his back before leaning onto a railing and then collapsing onto the pavement.
Authorities arrested the alleged shooter, Oscar Feijoo, 44, after a chaotic scene at the suspect’s home.
The SWAT team responded to Feijoo’s residence after he barricaded himself inside for hours and set it on fire.
The alleged killer finally exited the home to stand off with the authorities while he was armed with knives, according to the press release.

He was taken into custody shortly before 1pm the day after he reportedly shot the father.
A GoFundMe was set up by Azul Attanasio, his stepdaughter, to help support their family after losing their loved one and main provider.
‘My stepfather, father of my 6-year-old sister and my mother’s partner Pablo Criollo was aimlessly murdered,’ wrote Attanasio.
‘We are completely shattered by this act of violence. Pablo came from Ecuador at the age of 16 to start a new life. I knew him for 10 years and through that he was my mother’s partner and provided for me like I was his own daughter.’
She added that Criollo’s little six-year-old girl, who just recently started Kindergarten, was excited for Christmas.

Paula Amez, his wife, told CBS that her husband was walking because he thought it would be faster than taking the bus.
She added that he planned to buy a table to put out Christmas decorations the next day, when he was paid.
Amez also told NBC 4: ‘Every morning, my daughter is asking me about her father, what time he will come home.’
Neighbors near the scene of Feijoo’s arrest described that he looked demonic to the outlet.
‘He looked like a devil,’ said neighbor Cristina Pacheco. ‘The way he was looking is like a devil person.’
At this time, the motive for the killing is unclear, as well as whether Feijoo and Criollo had any relation to one another.
