    Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey’s return to the starting lineup of Villarreal ended in a UEFA Champions League defeat to English side Manchester City.

    Thomas Partey who was an unused substitute in Villarreal’s 2-2 draw against Real Betis was named in the starting 11 to face Manchester City on matchday 3 of the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League.
