A man has been arrested and rushed to hospital with facial injuries following a disturbance at Sydney’s busiest train station.
Police were called to Central Station in the CBD shortly after 12.30pm on Thursday following reports a male passenger had become aggressive on board a train.
He was arrested and rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail.
No charges have yet been laid.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson confirmed that a ‘drug-affected’ male patient suffered a facial injury, including what appeared to be a laceration.
It’s unclear how he sustained the injuries.
Emergency responders left the scene shortly after 2pm.

Shocked commuters reported seeing multiple emergency responders and an ambulance stretcher on platform 21 during the incident.
The platform is served by T2 Leppington and Inner West Line, T3 Bankstown Line, and T8 Airport & South Line trains.
There were no train delays as a result of the incident, according to Transport for NSW.
