The Deputy Country Head of Changan Ghana, Ganesh Phadale, says now is the best time for Ghanaians to purchase a new vehicle, citing affordability and favourable economic conditions.

Speaking at the official launch of two new Changan models, the Uni-K and the Oshan X7 Plus, he highlighted the brand’s commitment to making quality vehicles accessible to a broader range of buyers.

“Whether you’re a banker, a corporate executive, or an individual, you can own this car,” he said.

Adding to this, Senior Sales Consultant Melvin Osei Mensah said Changan is offering exceptional value compared to global market prices.

“Looking at the features, we should be selling this around US$50,000, but we’re selling it for less than US$35,000,” he stated.

The launch event, held in Accra on July 30, 2025, showcased Changan’s latest additions to the Ghanaian market, with both models boasting advanced features, fuel efficiency, and a modern design tailored for urban and family use.

Changan is expected to ramp up local sales and after-sales support as it deepens its presence in Ghana’s automotive market.
