Professional dancer and trainer, Champion Rollie, has shared how his father came to accept his decision to pursue dance as a career.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime’s ‘Changes’ show, Rollie recounted the turning point in his journey.
Rollie, who is widely known for his incredible skills and creativity, is a proud member of the renowned Dance With a Purpose (DWP) Academy, a platform that grooms and showcases talented dancers across Ghana and beyond.
He revealed that his father started changing his perspective when Rollie received his first major paycheck of $3,000 from a performance.
This breakthrough moment happened while he was still in university and was booked through AfroNation, a globally recognized event.
Rollie shared that the scale of the event and the opportunity to meet top artistes like Rema, Fireboy, and others helped his dad see the value and potential in his dance career.
