Rapper Okintoe is one of the most influential rappers in Central Region and has revealed the ills happening at Central Music Awards.

According to the rapper, Central region-based musicians are paid 2000ghc for shows including the just-ended Central Music Awards. Meanwhile, musicians billed from other regions especially Accra and Kumasi are paid huge.

In a recent interview with Kofy Jesse TV, rapper Okintoe expressed frustration with the Central Music Awards and how Cape Coast-based musicals are mistreated.

The artist claimed that the just-ended awards event was poorly managed, leading to a negative experience for performers.

Furthermore, the musician alleged disparities in compensation for performers, with some receiving significantly more than others. This has raised concerns about fairness and transparency in the music industry.
