Lydia Naa Deide Tagoe, the beloved mother of late Ghanaian hiplife musician Castro Under Fire, has sadly passed away.

The heartbreaking news was shared by her son and Castro’s brother, McBaby Nana Kwame Martin, in a Facebook post.

The cause of her death remains unknown at this time.

In his emotional tribute, McBaby expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing his mother as his “best friend” and “angel on earth.”

“I am broken and short of words, but God knows best. I lost my best friend and my angel on earth this morning. Rest on, Mommy, forever in my heart… Wherever you are, may God keep you safe,” he wrote.

He added, “Life hasn’t been fair to me, but in all things, I give thanks and praises to my Most High God. Rest on, Mommy, Lydia Naa Deide Tagoe.”

The post was accompanied by a heartfelt photo of McBaby with his late mother, which quickly drew emotional reactions from fans and friends, many of whom expressed their condolences and support for the grieving family.
