Nicki Minaj is President Donald Trump‘s No. 1 fan.
The rapper unexpectedly joined the President on stage Wednesday in Washington, DC for an event on Trump Accounts.
She emerged in a furry white coat and with her multi-inch-long acrylic nails took Trump’s hand, which is prone to bruising and bleeding due to his high aspirin dose.
Trump praised Minaj for investing hundreds of thousands into accounts for her supporters’ children, then went off script to invite her on stage alongside businessman and Daily Mail contributor Kevin O’Leary.
Minaj, who appeared shier-than-usual in front of the government and business audience, gushed about Trump despite recent backlash over her outward support for the President.
‘I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan,’ Minaj reaffirmed from the podium in the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium on Wednesday. ‘And that’s not going to change.’
She said any hate towards Trump motivates her and his backers to support him even more.
‘We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him, and, you know, the smear campaigns – it’s not going to work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?’ she concluded.

Trump leaned over and said off-mic to the rapper: ‘That is so nice, thank you.’
Minaj sat beside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz at the event in a frigid and still-snow-littered DC.
When coming out on stage, she shook the President’s hand and then they held hands while standing behind O’Leary for his quick remarks.
The rapper, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago but raised in Queens, donned chrome-colored, lengthy acrylic fingernails that could have been a hazard to the President’s frail hands.
Pam Bondi sliced Trump’s hand open with her ring during a high-five at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And there are often images of Trump’s right hand with bruises or cover-up makeup to conceal discoloration.
It’s due to his admitted higher-than-recommended daily dose of aspirin. Trump says he’s defying doctor’s orders to take less because he wants to keep his blood thinner and flowing through his heart easier in an effort to avoid a heart attack in his older age.
But Trump didn’t appear concerned with how Minaj’s fingernails might impact his hand health.
He even joked when inviting the rapper on stage about how he’s going to let his nails grow because he likes the length of Minaj’s.
‘I just think she’s great,’ Trump said. ‘You know, I’ve been hearing so much over the years because I didn’t know Nicki and I’ve been hearing over the years, she’s a big Trump supporter, a Trump fan, and she took a little heat on occasion.’
‘Her community isn’t necessarily – I’ll tell ya – we did pretty damn well with your community, as we say,’ he added. ‘But Nicki has been an unbelievable supporter.’

Minaj was attending the event Wednesday as a big supporter of his new childhood investment savings accounts, Trump said.
‘Nicki makes a lot of money and she’s generously stepping up,’ he said.
He detailed: ‘She’s investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in Trump Accounts to support the children and really, the children of her incredible fans. That’s great – focus on that.’
‘Why should you give to somebody else’s fans? Give to your fans. I like that,’ Trump said.
The plan Trump set forward is meant to establish a generation of millionaires, according to the President.
The so-called Trump accounts would provide children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028 with a tax-advantaged investment of $1,000 provided by the Treasury Department.
That $1,000 stipend could be built on with up to $5,000 in annual investments.
If maximum contributions are made to the Trump Account, the projected value would be $1.1 million by the time they reach 28-years-old, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who is 28.
She plans to sign up her daughter, who is due in May, for a Trump account.
If a family made no additional contributions beyond the initial $1,000, a child with a Trump account could expect to have approximately $18,000 when they turn 28.
