The Afrobeat soundscape has just been elevated with the release of FREELY, the highly anticipated new album from fast-rising Cameroonian-Nigerian star Sabrina.

Known for her sultry voice, fluid rhythms, and bold lyrical style, Sabrina is quickly carving a niche for herself as one of the most exciting young talents on the African music scene.

The album, released this week to buzzing fan anticipation, comes on the heels of the success of her earlier singles Alone and Faraway, both of which feature prominently on the project.

Packed with 12 tracks, FREELY is a carefully curated body of work that showcases Sabrina’s versatility and her ability to fuse Afrobeat, R&B, and pop influences into a refreshing new sound.

Songs like Agility, Saint Tropez featuring Martins, and Paparazzi highlight her knack for playful yet infectious melodies, while heartfelt tracks such as Only You, Jejely, and Peace of Mind dive into themes of love, vulnerability, and emotional growth.

The album also takes a global turn with My Africa, a pan-African anthem, and ROD, a track already being tipped by fans as a standout.

“This album is about freedom — freedom to express, to love, to live, and to dream without limits,” Sabrina said in a statement. “I poured my heart into every song, and I’m excited to share this journey with my fans everywhere.”

Industry watchers are already calling FREELY one of the boldest Afrobeat projects of 2025, with its dreamy production, heartfelt lyrics, and cross-continental appeal.

For Sabrina, it represents not only an artistic milestone but also a declaration that she is here to stay.
