English Premier League giants, Arsenal, are keeping close tabs on Ghanaian youngster Caleb Yirenkyi, according to reports from MailSport.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who plies his trade with Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland, has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in Denmark.

Yirenkyi enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the 2024/25 season, making 17 appearances in the Danish Superliga, where he scored two goals and provided two assists.

His dynamic midfield presence and ability to dictate play from deep caught the attention of scouts across Europe, including those from North London.

His rise at club level earned him a maiden call-up to the Black Stars in May 2025.

He featured in Ghana’s international friendlies against Trinidad and Tobago as well as Nigeria in May 2025, showcasing maturity beyond his years on the international stage.

The new 2025/26 season has seen him pick up from where he left off, already contributing two assists in six league matches for Nordsjaelland.

His consistency and vision in midfield have only strengthened calls that he could be heading to one of Europe’s top teams.

Arsenal’s recruitment team, known for targeting young talents with high ceilings, is believed to be monitoring his progress closely as a potential reinforcement for the future.

Should the Gunners make a move, Yirenkyi would join the growing list of Ghanaian players in the English top flight.

Yirenkyi is one of several young players being tracked by the Gunners in recent months.

Reports indicate that Arsenal are also keeping tabs on Real Sociedad’s 19-year-old midfielder Jon Martin, Girona’s versatile 22-year-old defender Arnau Martinez, and Ajax’s highly-rated 21-year-old playmaker Oscar Gloukh.
