    The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed match officials for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2026 qualifier between Egypt and Ghana, scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2025, at the Ismailia-Suez Canal Stadium.

    South African referee Akhona Zennith Makalima will take charge of the highly anticipated encounter.

    She will be assisted by compatriot Nandipha Menze as Assistant Referee I and Mphtaso Mphtaso Mamete from Malawi as Assistant Referee II. Fellow Malawian Eness M. Gumbo will serve as the Fourth Official.

    The match will be supervised by Teresa Ouko Calleb from Kenya, who serves as the Match Commissioner, with Alice Damaris Wangari Kimani, also from Kenya, appointed as the Referee Assessor.

    The crucial first-leg qualifier is set to kick off at 19:00 local time as both nations aim to secure an early advantage in their bid to qualify for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
