Buzzycash Technologies Limited has formally commenced its operations in Ghana, marking its entry with the introduction of three culturally inspired gaming products designed around familiar aspects of Ghanaian life.
The company, which has secured full regulatory approval from the National Lottery Authority (NLA), announced the rollout of its new offerings; Ghana Jollof Rice, Trotro, and Goldmine at a media launch held in Accra on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer of Buzzycash, Joel Akinjobi Adewale, said the company aims to build an engaging and inclusive gaming ecosystem that reflects local identity.
“Our focus is to develop experiences that resonate deeply with the Ghanaian community. These products highlight culture, participation and connection,” he said.
Country Director, Nana Yaw Bresiam, emphasised that the new products were intentionally crafted around everyday Ghanaian themes to ensure easy recognition and relatable user experiences.
“We wanted to design something familiar, something people instantly identify with, from our jollof culture to the trotro rush and the nation’s long-standing mining heritage,” he explained.
A representative of the NLA Caritas Platform, Akua Serwaa Adu Darko, reaffirmed the regulator’s oversight and the company’s compliance.
“Buzzycash has completed all processes required by the NLA. The products meet regulatory standards and have been formally recognised,” she stated.
Chief Technical Director of Buzzycash, Ifeanyi Ononvo, explained that the platform has been developed to ensure transparency and adherence to operational guidelines under the Caritas system.

Ghana Jollof Rice
Inspired by the country’s culinary identity, this product allows participants to make selections from symbolic “ingredients,” each generating an instant outcome determined by a secure system.
Trotro
Modelled after Ghana’s vibrant public transport culture, this experience simulates the journey of a trotro navigating everyday challenges on the road.
Goldmine
Structured around mining themes, Goldmine offers different participation modes and incorporates discussions around responsible mining.
Buzzycash maintains that all its gaming activities are supported by the NLA Caritas platform to ensure fairness, transparency and regulatory supervision.
